Dr. Bipul Kumar Ray is an acclaimed Santoor virtuoso, composer, and scholar, known for his soulful renditions and global contributions to Indian classical music. A senior disciple of Padmashri Pt. Bhajan Sopori, Dr. Ray seamlessly blends tradition with innovation, making the Santoor a powerful medium of spiritual and emotional expression.

Holding a Ph.D. in Santoor from the University of Delhi, along with M.Phil. and Master’s degrees in Classical Vocal Music, Dr. Ray brings academic depth and artistic finesse to his performances. As the Founder of Raganjali Academy of Performing Arts, he actively nurtures young talent and promotes Indian classical traditions.

Dr. Ray has represented India across the globe, performing in countries such as Egypt, Germany, Peru, Austria, and Thailand, among others. His music has featured in major festivals including the G20 Summit, Tansen Samaroh, and the Delhi Classical Music Festival.
